Langhe D.O.C. Nas-cëtta del Comune di Novello
Our special vineyard on the shore of our Ghercina lake
Nascetta, or “nas-cëtta” in Piedontese dialect, is an indigenous variety from Novello, the village where we are.
Due to its production variability, it was almost abandoned in the past, then re-discover in 1990’s by a group of producers from Novello who had the chance to taste some old bottles of Nas-cëtta. From that time, they started a long process to plant the vineyards and produce again this wine. Finally in 2010, the wine got the appelation “Langhe D.O.C. Nas-cëtta del Comune di Novello”.
The Nas-cëtta we produce comes from our vineyards in Novello, located on the shores of our Ghercina lake. It’s a wine that underlines the deep connection we have with our region and our dedication to promote piedmontese unique wines.
